We have discussed the biblical prosperity principles as they pertain to perspective. Now lets explore the biblical principles that will help us formulate our objectives.
Many uninformed and, dare I say, brainwashed preachers, look at biblical prosperity as evil and as the world's attempt to get the minds of Christians and non-believers off Christ and His teaching. Fortunately, for those who have actually studied God's Holy Word, we can see in His Holy Scripture the promises and the principles (wisdom) that He, through the teaching of Christ, has provided us, encouraging and uplifting scripture to support biblical prosperity principles.
Here, I am going to reveal to you the Biblical Success System (source of our biblical prosperity principles)that has been in place since the creation of Adam and Eve. Just imagine a wonderful, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent Creator as He plans a world for His beloved creation, man. He creates a garden with everything that His creation needs or could ever want. Beautiful in ever respect. God created a world of wealth and ultimate beauty. Man had to do nothing but enjoy it. However, because man allowed sin (disobedience and lust) to come into his world, he no longer had everything given to him (it was and is still there). Now he has to work for it.
How does it glorify God for us to be poor, lacking even the necessities, uneducated, sick? It doesn't and God wants us to be successful. If He didn't want us to be successful, why did He create all of this and, in His Holy Word, give us the directions to become successful? The Key verse we need is Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding

God's Word and Wisdom are the same thing! Wisdom is supreme and all the wisdom of the ages is contained in the Holy Word of God. Our study and understanding of God's Word is paramount to success. Please do not confuse the wisdom of God's Word with rules and regulations. They are not the same. Wisdom is a guide. By using God's Holy Word as our biblical success principles, we will never fail. One of the strongest argument against "prosperity" messages is 1 John 2:15 which states:
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. This is clearly a true statement; first because it is in God's Word. But, as is usually the case, this has been taken 'out of context'. I find this happens so often. To prove an idea, some take a portion of a scripture that supports their argument but do not include the clear picture of the scripture 'in context'.
Let's look at that passage in context.
1 John 12:14-16
I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one. Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world — the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does — comes not from the Father but from the world.
This is true wisdom and helps define our biblical prosperity principles. Do not let the wealth, the possessions possess you. Always keep God and His Holy Scripture first. Being prosperous does not include "cravings" or "Lust of the eye" and boasting. Prosperity is loving the God who provides for you. Prosperity is having the wherewithal to do the things that will glorify God. If you are seeking wealth for the sake of wealth, you have crossed the line. Step back, reassess. You must be grounded in the Word of God with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be able to have the wisdom to be a good steward.
The wisdom of God and His biblical prosperity principles are not just for Church. They are for 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. They are a guide for a lifestyle. Decadence does not define wealth otherwise King Solomon and King David would not have lived in the favor of God. This all boils down to this little nugget. You want to be successful. God wants you to be successful. In order for you to be successful you must possess wisdom at whatever price. Wisdom is supreme and only comes from God through His Holy Word. Don't let people convince you that seeking success is wrong. It isn't as long as you seek success through the guidance of the Wisdom of God. Please read this Warning!
